Today let’s read Floppy’s Bone.
今天我们来读《Floppy的骨头》。
First let’s have a look at the cover.
首先我们来看下封面。
What can you see on the cover?
封面上你都看到了什么？
I can see Mum and Floppy.
我看到妈妈和Floppy。
What’s Mum doing?
妈妈在做什么呢？
She is giving a big bone to Floppy.
她正在给Floppy一块大骨头。
Floppy is very happy to see the bone.
Floppy看到骨头非常开心。
What else can you see?
你还看到了什么？
Oh, there is a small dog hiding behind the bush.
噢，有一只小狗正躲在树丛后面。
What will happen? Let’s see.
接下来会发生什么？我们一起看看。
Floppy is lying on the grass and looking at the bone.
Floppy正躺在草地上，看着这块骨头。
Here comes the small dog.
这只小狗过来了。
Do you think he wants the bone?
你觉得它想要骨头吗？
Yes. I think he also wants the bone.
嗯，我觉得它也想要骨头。
Oh no! The small dog took the bone.
坏了！这只小狗把骨头抢走了。
Floppy is very angry and he runs after the dog.
Floppy非常生气，他赶紧去追这只小狗。
What’s Mum doing?
妈妈在做什么呢？
She is doing her laundry, but Floppy made a mess by running over the clothes.
她正在洗衣服呢，但是她的衣服被Floppy弄的撒了一地。
There is even some clothing hanging on Floppy.
还有些衣服被Floppy带走了。
“Come back!” said Mum.
妈妈说：“快回来！”
She ran after Floppy with a basket in her hand. She wanted to get her clothes back.
她拿着篮子就去追Floppy了，她要把她的衣服拿回来。
What’s Dad doing?
爸爸在做什么呢？
He is cleaning the golf club.
他正在清洁高尔夫球杆。
Oh no! Floppy took the golf clubs away!
但是Floppy把球杆带走了。
“Come back,” said Dad.
爸爸说：“快回来。”
He ran after Mum.
他追在妈妈后面。
What are Biff and Chip doing?
Biff和Chip在做什么？
They are flying a kite.
他们正在放风筝呢。
“Come back,” said Biff and Chip.
Biff和Chip说：“快回来。”
They ran after Dad.
他们追在爸爸的后面。
They are running because Floppy took the kite away.
他们也在追是因为Floppy也把风筝带走了。
There are a lot of things on Floppy now! Some clothes, golf clubs, and a kite.
现在Floppy身上有好多东西啊，有衣服，有高尔夫球杆，还有风筝。
Suddenly, the small dog stopped, and everyone stopped.
突然，这只小狗停下来了，每个人也都停下来了。
Why did the dog stop?
这只小狗为什么停下来了？
That’s because there is a bigger dog in front of him. He looks so fierce.
因为有一只更大的狗出现在它面前，它看起来好凶猛啊。
The big, brown dog took the bone.
这只棕色的大狗把骨头抢走了。
What happened at last?
故事的最后发生了什么？
The big dog ate the bone.
这只大狗把骨头吃掉了。
Where is everyone else?
大家都去哪了？
They are hiding behind the house and looking at the big dog. It is eating the bone.
大家都躲在房子后面，看这只大狗在吃骨头。
Oh no! Poor Floppy! Poor family!
哎，可怜的Floppy！可怜的大伙！
拓展问题
1.Why did Mum, Dad, Biff and Chip chase after Floppy?
妈妈、爸爸、Biff和Chip为什么要追Floppy？
2.Why didn’t they get the bone back?
大家为什么没有把骨头追回来？
3.Who had the bone at the end?

黄豆妈说
这本书简直太好玩啦，Floppy为了追他的骨头，先后撞到了妈妈晾的衣服、爸爸的高尔夫球杆、还有Biff和Chip的风筝，最后也只能眼睁睁地看着那只大狗把骨头吃掉。这本书的情节真的是丰富又细腻啊！
秃头叔叔和小眼镜，在这本书里都出现了，你找到了吗？
特别提醒
1. 每个宝宝的年龄不一样，基础不一样，不需要完全按照以上文本来讲。如果孩子感兴趣，就多说一点，不感兴趣就少说一点，都没问题。
2. 只要孩子理解，或看图能明白，或家长可以用肢体语言或者指物的方式让孩子明白，就不要翻译。
