说到口语,各位考生更是有一种旱的旱死,涝的涝死感觉!!
其实啊,很多同学都是小的时候没有系统学过音标,导致了发音的一些小问题层出不穷!
那么正好这个无法考试的时期,大家要好好来恶补一下一些发音规则了哦!今天就让大西瓜Lei Lei老师为你带来大西瓜Study from Home之恶补发音(上),带你分清/s/和/z/!

话不多说!直接开始吧!
要想分清/s/和/z/的区别,首先我们需要明确的概念就是音标里面,分清辅音和浊辅音。
二者的区别在于,我们在发清音的时候,声带是不振动的!而发浊音的时候,声带是需要振动的(因此后面我们把元音也归在了浊音类里面)。这些内容呢在大西瓜的技巧课里有更完整和详尽的讲解啊!
那么,在单词末尾加s/es/ies和的时候如何发音的规则需要遵循“遇清则清、遇浊则浊”的准则。
从字面不难看出,这些后缀,在遇到单词末尾是清辅音的时候,发相对应的清音/s/;在遇到单词末尾是浊辅音和元音发音的时候,发相对应的浊辅音/z/。
接下来我们先来梳理一下几种发音情况:
1. 发浊音/z/——适用于所有的浊辅音和元音发音结尾的单词,例如bags, leaves, words
2. 发清音/s/——适用于原单词末尾发音是表格上面一排(清辅音)里面的(遇到以/t/结尾的组成/ts/)没有标黄的音,例如cakes, caps, cats。标黄的音看下一条
3. 发/iz/——以/s/, /z/, /ʃ/, /ʒ/, /tʃ/和/dʒ/这6个摩擦音结尾的单词,因为加了/s/不方便发音,所以就中间加了一个/i/来缓和一下,/i/是元音,所以后面是/z/,例如buses, wishes, bridges。
